MARK LABRIE, D.V.M., PRACTICE OWNER
Dr. LaBrie, is a graduate of Texas A & M University. Upon graduation in 1982, he started his career as an associate veterinarian here at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital with Dr. Eric Lange. In 1985, Dr. LaBrie purchased the practice and property and has remained the sole owner of the animal hospital to current date. In 2004, he replaced the aging structure with a beautiful modern building.
Dr. LaBrie is currently a member of the AVMA, TVMA, and VMABC where he served as president in 1992.
Dr. LaBrie and his wife Susan, have two boys, Chris and Nick. Who are following in their father’s footsteps. They are also the proud owners of three active dogs: “Briley”, “Brie”, and “Mario.”
Dr. LaBrie enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman and scuba diver.
RAE DISHINGER, D.V.M., ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Dishinger, is a graduate of the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. She relocated to San Antonio in 2005 with her husband to join our staff. She enjoys the challenges of small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Dishinger is currently a member of the AVMA, TVMA, and the VMABC.
She currently owns two high energy Labradors: “Hydro” and “Buoy.”
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys fishing, hiking and kayaking with her family.
TATE O’GAN D.V.M., ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. O’Gan is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Wyoming, he relocated to Texas where he met and married his wife, Lindsay. They are the proud parents of son, Grady, born in 2012 the rest of the family includes three fluffy cats: “Higgins”, “Scout”, and “Oliver”. He has a special interest in feline medicine in addition to general small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. O’Gan is currently a member of the AVMA, TVMA, and VMABC.
When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, and reading all things relating to football.
MARIA, PRACTICE MANAGER
Maria has worked in veterinary medicine for over 34 years, starting as a receptionist then moving up to practice manager for several different practices. She has been with Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital since December 1999. She lives in the country with her husband and numerous pets. She enjoys time with family and visits to the beach.
VICKI, HEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Vicki began working at the Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital in 1978 while in high school. She has worded at other animal hospitals, the Nix Hospital, and the IRS for short periods of time in San Antonio and Houston. While she has seen a lot she has not seen it all: “There is always something new to learn”. She has enjoyed seeing the different generations of clients and pets that have been coming to the “Alamo” for many years.
NICK, HEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
As a child, Nick was raised around various farm and domestic animals and found those experiences very enjoyable. He found his calling in life to work in veterinary medicine. Nick started in 1990 as a veterinary technician in a small and large mixed animal practice. He has worked at several practices in San Antonio area which has allowed him to gain the necessary experience to know what it takes to become part of a great team here at “Alamo”.

NATHAN, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Nathan began his career in small animal medicine 10 years ago. He joined our team in 2006. An avid reader, he keeps up with the latest in small animal medication. He has two feline roommates: “Little Girl” and “Shawn.”
JOE, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
On several occasions Joe has saved the life of someone’s pet. He has had 18 years of veterinary nursing experience. He joined our family at Alamo Dog and Cat 5 months ago and is a great asset to our team. While he enjoys working with large animals, he has had extensive experience in small animal’s practices. One of his greatest qualities is his patience.
