Accreditation

Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital Is AAHA Accredited

Accreditation

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices throughout North America. Practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards encompassing all aspects of pet care – from patient care and pain management to team training and medical record-keeping.

The AAHA accreditation standards are continuously updated to keep accredited practices at the forefront of veterinary medicine and advanced business practices.

Today, approximately 12% of veterinary practices in North America hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation. Accreditation through AAHA helps veterinary practices operate at a high level and enhances their ability to provide excellent patient care.

Excellent service. Staff cares about your pet and the doctors are thorough and transparent. They even sent me a picture update. I could tell they treated my pet well. Highly recommended.
Very happy with the care our Fur Babies receive.
My cat Ziva became very sick around Christmas time and it became clear that I needed to take her to the emergency vet. I had never been to Quakertown Veterinary Clinic before, but I was impressed soon after entering. Over the course of her sickness, I worked with Dr. Ian Civco, Dr. Holly Brooks, and Dr. Susan Speak. The majority of the care was given by Dr. Civco, and he was very dedicated, detail oriented, and kind. He made sure to tell me when he would call with updates and he was true to his word. All of the doctors were willing to take time to answer my questions and help me understand the full picture of Ziva's conditions and her treatment. The support staff were wonderful as well-- each phone call I had was helpful and the people were considerate. I will not hesitate to go back to the facility in the future if I need to!
They helped my horse for years with his arthritic condition. Since then I've brought some cats with me to QVC. i cannot remark enough on the thoroughness, empathy, and truly talented staff. These people know their stuff, they take fantastic care of the animals, not just the doctors either. Support staff 10/10 professional, knowledgeable, and they have a fine tuned machine there. I honestly wish there were more stars to give. Thank you all so much.
